Examples of Using the Network
Participants from all over the world join the network by registering themselves and indicating their areas of
particular interest in international health. They then search the network to find like-minded colleagues
to contact. There are many ways the service can foster cooperation:

she returns the favor in Tegucigalpa.

surgical supplies from individual European and American donors contacted through the Network.

from 12 countries willing to work together on a tropical health education project.
- A non-governmental organization
finds seven healthcare workers from three different countries for its upcoming medical relief trip to Mali.
- An academic gastroenterologist
in Delhi gives clinical advice to a colleague in Malaysia who is having trouble managing a difficult case.

in six tropical countries willing to collaborate on a tuberculosis research project.
